Active participation in today's society requires access to online systems and networks. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a widening technology gap for consumers who require alternative access system. These individuals who are frequently among the poorest in our communities must pay up to three times as much to participate online and the systems they rely upon are increasing in cost, and decreasing in reliability and functionality. Fortunately online networks also hold the key to providing sustainable digital inclusion. This session will present practical strategies, tools, networks and movements that support digital inclusion for the full spectrum of users.
